October Update
September was a busy month in our school garden as it was harvest time. An abundant crop of potatoes, onions, french beans, raspberries and beetroot were just some of the fabulous produce the children from 3rd & 4th class harvested. It was even more exciting when the children got to distribute the produce across our school community. Well done to all involved and thanks to Caitriona & Elaine for their continued work in the garden. Huge thanks to our 3rd & 4th class children from last year who tended to the garden during the summer holidays.
Now it’s time for our garden to hibernate and to work on our next project- the bug hotel.
Keep a look out on our school website for all things creepy and crawly!
