Solar S'mores

Well done to all of the children involved in our project Solar S'mores at the Galway Technology & Science Festival in UCG at the weekend. 

Their presentation skills were excellent and they made us all here at Scoil Bhríde very proud. Well done boys and girls.

Regeneration with scientist Jane Mc Loughlin

We were thrilled to welcome scientist Jane McLoughlin to our school for an engaging and educational visit! 

Jane hosted an interactive workshop in every classroom, captivating students with her fascinating insights into the world of regeneration. She explained how some animals, like axolotls, can regenerate lost limbs.

Throughout the day, Jane also shared interesting facts about the diverse plants and animals in our world.

 Students from Junior Infants to Sixth Class, as well as both of our autism classes, thoroughly enjoyed the experience and left with a deeper appreciation for the wonders of nature. It was a truly inspiring day for all!
