ESB Science Blast

On Monday the 27th of February, the pupils from 5th and 6th class attended the ESB Science Blast exhibition which took place in the RDS, Dublin. 

The children presented the following research question: 

"Will my resting heart rate decrease as I become fitter?"

We were visited by our judge who asked us lots of questions about our investigation. He was very impressed with our data analysis and made some suggestions for future research ideas! 

We even used our pulse oximeters to measure his resting heart rate! 

We also had time to explore science investigations presented by other schools. We attended two science shows where we got to witness some cool experiments!
